Symphony of Sky & Sea is 1 of 3 works in a series under planning. It uses Pointillism similar short strokes to translate Vincent van Gogh's Starry Night and traditional Chinese paintings skills to interprete Katsushika Hokusai' The Great Wave Off Kanagawa and seamlessly merge them into one piece of art harmonically in a post-modern montage way. When Vincent van Gogh and Katsushika Hokusai shaking hands across time and space, there are Yinyang, momentum and energy floating in the sky and sea. The whole painting is a symphony of sky & sea full of sapphires, jades & ambers.
Type: pigment ink on fine canvas protected with a layer of lacquer.
